If you've never seen the couchbike, I encourage you to give it a gander. The Bicycle Forest has a lot of neat links and neat bikes, and if I'm ever in Ontario, I' m pretty sure it'll be worth a visit to rent something to ride, just so I can take a picture of me on a bike that's not traditional.The couchbike is what it purports to be...couch...and bike. There are numerous pictures and video if you follow the first link. It's been around for a long time, but I had never been introduced to it before my Adventure Cyclist magazine showed up in the mail.
If it truly perplexes you, you might be interested to know that quadricycles have a long history.
