I spend a bit of time scanning and reading quite a few law-related blogs, particularly law librarians and law students (from the U of MN when I can find them). You can see a few on my blogroll: Unblague, Mauled Again, Tax Prof Blog, Generic Heretic, although those wouldn't be a complete list of what you'd find in my OPML file. Lately, I've been reading Out of the Jungle, specifically the posts by Jim Milles and Betsy McKenzie about "Law Porn": glossy brochures, law school branding, and the branding of students who come from those schools. There's also a curious subtext that implies that while law schools might believe that glossy brochures and alumni magazines add value to the student experience and to selling those students to potential employers, it also damages the student experience, making it just another commodity. Read enough law blogs and you really start to see some professorial angst about what the goals of law school should be as regards student education.
