My Ancestors Must be Rolling in their Graves

We've been made part of the George W. Bush presidential inaguaration theme. Now, I note they don't actually refer to my ancestor anywhere on this page, or the other inauguration theme-related page, but that's probably because she's Native American and didn't really have anything to do with a vision of America (that's sarcasm, in case you're a visitor).

‘A Vision of America’
“A Vision of America” has been selected as the 2005 Presidential Inaugural Theme. The 2005 theme commemorates the anniversaries of two significant events in American history that helped shape our nation - the centennial of Theodore Roosevelt’s formal inauguration as president in 1905, and the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition reaching the Pacific in 1805.

By the way, it's absolutely un-red state like that you'd have to leave your Leatherman at home, though my real problem would be not having a thermos of coffee to keep me awake, so:
Please take note of the prohibited items.

And, if you're a blue stater:
Tickets may still be available.

Seems strange that, after 2001, they left "eggs" off the prohibited list. Oh. "Other items at the discretion of the security screeners that may pose a threat to the security of the event." Okay, then.

I think other items means "Democrats", or maybe "Democrats with cameras", or perhaps "Democrats with cameras and websites". Hard to say.
